Watching the weekend, as a wave of low pressure along a stalled boundary along the coast that could bring our region more rainfall. Low confidence forecast but something to watch into the weekend...

We have our next named storm, TS Jerry in the central Atlantic. Forecast to become the season's next hurricane, it's thankfully expected to be another "fish" storm and turn out to sea. So far this season, the only storm to hit the mainland US was TS Chantal back in early July.

Tuesday starts dry with some sunshine, but clouds are expected to build in as the day goes on ahead of some much needed rain showers. Showers impact western zones as early as Tuesday afternoon, could reach DC by the evening. Wednesday starts wet, but sun back by the afternoon.

Island of Bermuda getting slammed by Category 2 Hurricane Imelda this evening, packing winds of 100mph and gusts to 120mph. Whether or not it's an official landfall will depend on if the central low passed over the island or not. It might stay JUST south.
