Putting all of this down into words is very therapeutic right now. Have just been writing for the last hour, going through everything. Maybe I share it tomorrow.
I've hit this weird point in my life and career. Part of me wants to keep moving forward with what I'm currently doing while getting back in and doubling down on my channel. HOWEVER. After 15 years, I'm admittedly tired. Really tired with a family and growing bills. .

An update on this: it's only a small number of people let go. Still important, but Halo Studios wasn't hit at the level other Xbox studios were.
Late evening update: Halo Studios also hit by layoffs, I can confirm.

There's the part of me that wants to get back into the "traditional" workforce, leave everything behind, and just live my life. As a web developer and data analyst, though, I'm admittedly worried that it's only time before that falls apart as well with how companies move.

"made up" a report that wasn't originated by Insider Gaming. We reported on a claim. The article includes the origin of the rumor while adding a mention of conversations that were heard/had in Los Angeles. But sure.

@InsiderGamingIG Insider Gaming has written 15 separate articles about the layoffs. They make money for each one you read. They also knew they were coming because they wrote about them for 2 weeks prior.

I've found that out more times than I care to count in my career. Get major funding? Laid off.Sign a new contract with vendor? project cut and laid off. it's in every sector. it's awful.
