I swear... (even tho I have been teasing it for years) I AM still working on the content that I've been promising. It's just taken a lot of time to dial everything in!

Has anyone talked about the insurance implications on something like this? Right now, even if you use FSD you are still considered to be behind the wheel and at fault in some cases. But with literally no way to intervene, who is āat faultā when its your vehicle that is at fault?
Elon Musk just confirmed that Tesla will deliver a Cybercab to a customer for $30,000 or less by the end of 2026. You will be able to buy a Cybercab for personal use.

@sircalebhammer But⦠then I read the comments and I also realize that no one is actually even watching the video. They just read the headline, forumulate their opinion, and then argue their bias. So in the end, did the content even matter?!? š¤Ŗšš¢

Becz the true irony of the entire video is there is an entire section talking about how A⦠I⦠is taking alot of jobs Hell it even repeats itās closing sentiment twice in back to back sentences But honestly⦠Iāve learned to not expect a lot of substance from @sircalebhammer

I get it. We have always lived in a content economy where ācontent is kingā and that means an unsustainable level of consistency. But this version of content is just so devoid of authentic human opinion and creativity. All it does is steal your time for 30 minutes

When he says āI made a documentaryā, what he means is: I used AI to generate a script, replicate my voice, slap generic B-roll over every shot, and then uploaded it to an entirely seperate channel to avoid being called out for it. I sincerely hate what ācontentā has become
The worst monthly job numbers since the Great Recession just hit⦠things are getting crazy. I did a deep dive and made a short documentary on whatās going on. Watch here: https://t.co/JXXKbKjjZs

This edit is brilliant! But it is also such a great example of how āeditingā is all about rhythm. The sfx compliment the musics āpulseā which elevates the entire āfeelingā. And while the action match cutting is fun to see, what gets shown when is dictated by the musics rhythm

As a final disclaimer here⦠NONE of this is my call. These are just my observations as I get older and try and understand the business side of games. Everyone loves a starving artist, but a company would still need to pay those artists to make what we all love and want to see

There is already so much division amongst the players of what āisā and āisnātā for them. But the costs to create something like that would HAVE to be finically viable. The Housing trailer shows that art style alone would already divide half of the existing player/viewer base

So I guess my question to everyone would be⦠HOW could we deliver a long form piece of media that youād actually show up and financially support?

There are a ton of streaming platforms that could support a release⦠but the primary driver of that monetization is THEIR subscription model. Which I imagine has some sort of split involved based on viewership, but there is also a ton of other content that has to be split with

So if we take a look at the surrounding distribution landscape you have theatrical and streaming. Now we already saw a theatrical release in 2016, but from a box office standpoint that was most saved by China. So what about streaming?

Now sure⦠one aspect would obviously be the hope for driving subscriptions to WoW or whatever game is involved, but as great as Arcane was⦠it failed to convert viewers into players.

Now⦠I would love to see that reality happen, but a huge part of movie/series/show creation is monetization and distribution. If WE take the financial risk to make it⦠how do we recoup the costs involved?

After the Housing cinematic was released a ton of renewed interest was expressed in making an animated series or movie. And trust me when I say that I am right there with you. But a lot of people are also saying āTake my money, just make the thing!!ā

Because I have a little bit more WoW twitter engagement atm (hello to my new followers by the way).. I want to ask a serious business question. Let me preface and say that I get no say in what Iām about to discuss, but I have seen opinions that have made me curious.

So many of us on the team have played WoW for years, so we couldnāt resist sneaking in a guild photo with our characters. These cinematics are truly a labor of love, and Iām endlessly grateful for the people I get to go into battle with every day.
