1/2. For the folks who’ve noticed I’m not on the air today…I was informed after last Friday’s show that I was being let go as part of the company’s ongoing budget cuts. I had planned to retire (with a lil dignity) at the end of my contract next February.

Rob Thomson happily gave up No. 59 for Jhoan Duran. Thomson said the only person bummed is his wife because she’s got a lot of 59 gear. She’ll have to get new stuff. Thomson will wear No. 49 to honor his friend Ron Guidry.
