Thank you to @NelsonTotah for conceptualizing and leading this study, as well as @LCneuroscience and @ProbablyLC for their input throughout, and to all the co-authors who contributed data. We hope this will be a good resource for everyone performing LC ephys recordings!.

Additionally, co-first author @Science_Ellen used interspike intervals to characterize firing patters of LC neurons, showing greater diversity in firing pattern than the previous tonic/phasic definitions, which also depended on experimental factors.

We found that LC firing rates vary across species, state of the animal, sex, and age, in addition to complex interactions between these factors. Highlights include increasing LC activity during aging and in females compared to males.

Attention all LC lovers, this is a pre-print you won't want to skip! We combined over 1800 single unit LC recordings across 20 labs to ask whether LC firing is different across various conditions

Abstract. Whole-brain intrinsic activity as detected by resting-state fMRI can be summarized by three primary spatiotemporal patterns. These patterns have been shown to change with different brain...

Another day another pre-print, this time for the LC enthusiasts! This is part of the final pieces of my graduate work with @LCneuroscience where we wanted to know how different rates/patterns of LC stimulation impact global spatiotemporal brain patterns

My first experiments as a post-doc are finally published in @HormBehav! Aged voles have a lot of love to give, demonstrating accelerated and enhanced pair bonding which is paralleled by an increase in oxytocin cell counts of the PVN.

Excited to share the first pre-print of my post-doc with @DrZoePhD. At the end of my PhD, I became interested in how social behaviors evolve during aging, particularly in late stages of life. But mice/rats do not display many of the complex social behaviors as observed in humans.
