Desperately sad news and hard to take in. He was always so full of life and always a pleasure to be with. An absolute legend in The Gooner for many years and I'll always be grateful for his extensive contributions. RIP Steve.
Steve Ashford, who wrote the Highbury Spy column in The Gooner for over 30 years, has sadly died after a prolonged health battle. A total one-off and a guy you couldn’t help but enjoy the company of. I’ll miss you so much mate. At least your pain is over now. Rest In Peace 🙏🙏🙏

Simply shocking news. Super Kev was the first player to break into the first team who was younger than me and we shared the same birthday so I always felt a strong affinity towards him. Was a genuinely nice guy. Thoughts with his family. RIP.
We are devastated to learn that our former striker Kevin Campbell has died after a short illness. Kevin was adored by everyone at the club. All of us are thinking of his friends and family at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Kevin ❤️

Frank Kelly, a long-time Gooner seller, who also manned a memorabilia stall for myself & Dave at the top of Aubert Park in the latter Highbury years, sadly died at the start of the month. For anyone that knew him & wishes to attend his funeral, message me. RIP 'you cheeky git'

The printing deadline for the 2024 #Arsenal calendar presumably came too early to feature David Raya, but I'm still going for all those included to be at the club in the month they appear for second consecutive year. Anyone disagree?
One of the many Christmas traditions is getting #TheArsenal calendar and trying to guess how many of the featured players will have left the club before we reach their month. For first time I'm going for none this year. Am I right or just being optimistic?

Enjoyable first visit to @DoddingtonHall yesterday. Fantastic 12 days of Christmas themed displays in the house, great shopping and delicious lunch in the cafe. Will be going back.

We were better side all night and deserved something regardless of VAR corruption ( I don't believe anyone who has reffed at a high level can possibly be that incompetent). Lacked a cutting edge though and didn't work their keeper anywhere near enough.
