As much as I disagree with what ND did yesterday, I think their AD has a very valid point here. The ACC Network (operated by ESPN) played the Miami-ND game on loop last week. That's an interesting move for a network that relies on ND basketball games to drive viewership.
Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua says the ACC did “permanent damage” to its relationship with ND for all of the anti-Irish playoff politicking the conference publicly leaned into in the lead up to the selection show. “We didn’t appreciate the fact we were singled out repeatedly.”

I think there’s a few small seeding errors (Georgia and A&M each one spot too low, Alabama one spot too high), but I think the committee mostly did the right thing. If Notre Dame doesn’t like it, perhaps they should join a conference?

In my opinion, the 12 best teams this year are Indiana, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas, Vanderbilt, Miami, and Alabama. We know at least two of them, and maybe as many as four of them, aren’t getting in. And that’s unfortunate.

Here’s what I think the committee will do… 1 Indiana 2 Georgia 3 Ohio St 4 Texas Tech 12 James Madison at 5 Oregon 11 Tulane at 6 Ole Miss 10 Alabama at 7 Texas A&M 9 Notre Dame at 8 Oklahoma I would have Miami in over Alabama, but I don’t think the committee will do it.

I agree with Zinno. If the committee puts any priority on how Alabama played down the stretch, they are in deep trouble.
I’ve been high on Bama all year. Didnt think there was a way they get left out of playoff. After this game … I don’t think you can ignore what we saw. Bama has been trending in wrong direction for a month.
