12/ And one last thing — If world leaders fail again this year… farmers will still be the ones planting, adapting, surviving We always have But we deserve better than surviving We deserve systems that help us thrive #COP30 #ClimateJustice #ClimateAction #SustainableAgriculture

11/ Whether you believe in international conferences or not, here’s the truth Your next harvest depends on climate stability Your soil depends on climate action Your kids’ future depends on decisions made in rooms far away from farm COP30 is not their thing It’s YOUR fight too

10/ My honest take? COP30 will matter only if farmers — the real climate soldiers — are included. Not just CEOs, not just politicians. The people working under the sun Because climate decisions without farmers… is like discussing water with people who’ve never touched a river

9/ But let me be hopeful for a second… COP30 has a chance to: • push real funding for African farmers • promote agroecology and regenerative agriculture • support climate-smart tools • stop deforestation deals that hurt indigenous people • give young farmers a voice

8/ Here’s where the controversy enters —These global conferences sometimes feel like rich nations telling poor nations “Reduce emissions,” while they themselves refuse to reduce theirs Let me make sense If we don’t talk about dis power imbalance at COP30, it’s just another party

7/ COP30 contributions • Climate finance: money to help countries adapt • Loss & damage fund • Agricultural transition • Forest protection: especially Amazon + Africa • Early warning systems Sounds good on paper… but implementation is where the world always fumbles.

6/ Farmers should care about COP30 because ✔️ Rainfall is no longer predictable ✔️ Pests are behaving like they drank Red Bull ✔️ Soil is losing nutrients faster than we can replace ✔️ Inputs are getting expensive ✔️ Yields are crashing Isn’t theory — it’s eating our farms alive

5/ My personal annoyance? Africa contributes the least carbon emissions, yet we suffer the most. Droughts, floods, heatwaves — farmers lose hectares in one week. COP30 is supposed to change that imbalance. Will it? I honestly don’t know… but it SHOULD.

4/ Objectives of COP30 • Stop the planet from overheating • Protect forests & biodiversity • Support farmers adapting to weird weather • Push countries to use cleaner energy • Put real money (not promises) Basically: “Save the Earth before the Earth deletes us.”

3/ But here’s where it gets interesting — COP30 isn’t just about climate anymore. It’s about food, water, farming, survival, and let me add… power. Because whoever controls the climate solutions… controls the future of agriculture.

2/ So what is COP30? It’s basically the world saying: “Hey, climate change is getting mad… let’s stop pretending.” Countries gather to negotiate how to cut emissions, protect forests, support farmers, fund climate solutions, and stop the planet from entering full disaster mode

Thread: Mapping in Agriculture 101 1/ Everyone’s talking about fertilizer, irrigation, and improved seeds… But nobody’s talking about maps. Yes, maps. The most underrated tool in modern farming And maybe the reason your yield is stuck at average.

#COP30 — The Climate Meeting That Could Decide Our Farms’ Future Let’s be honest — most people hear “COP30” & just scroll Looks like one of those big grammar conferences where leaders read long speeches & nothing changes But this one? This one is different This one is on Brazil
