The hallmark of an open mind is refusing to let your ideas become your identity. If you define yourself by your opinions, questioning them is a threat to your integrity. If you see yourself as a curious person or a lifelong learner, changing your mind is a moment of growth.

Exercising 150 minutes per week for 4 months is equally as effective as taking an antidepressant for depression, review finds. Get outside and get moving. Start small and easy. For many, a walk is enough when you are starting.

It's time to take the compliment sandwich off the menu. Sticking criticism between two slices of praise is disingenuous and ineffective. A better approach is care and coach. Explain that you're committed to their growth, and ask if they're interested in your suggestions.

Novices seek praise. Recognizing strengths builds confidence to keep going. Experts crave criticism. Seeing shortcomings reveals avenues to keep growing. Preferring corrections to compliments is a sign of skill. The better you get, the more determined you become to get better.

I'm a little baffled by what the FTC is doing here. Doesn't this just make it less likely that companies will do licensing deals? A company that is already in a space is the most likely to license a new entrant. https://t.co/Sd6WuTsTVO
