Layoffs are new normal. People should focus on their skill set so they can be valuable enough at their workplace to not get laid off. Or even if they do get laid off, they can bag another job.
My friends in IT are having such a tough time at work, experiencing mass layoffs and no job security. My heart breaks for them, and I hope no one has to go through such uncertainty at work. Every day, I’m hearing about someone or the other losing their job.
