🧵Want to deploy a Solidity dApp on Bitcoin to which users connect with native Bitcoin wallets like @XverseApp & don’t do any bs steps like bridging? Here is a thread on how I’d do it. If there’s tooling you don’t like using - feel free to change. Just giving options. Let’s go🧵

Red flags of web3 startups: - C level folks Participating literally every conference - Coders saying that they don’t write code themselves at all anymore - Texts written with AI - Engaging with toxic activities only - Pure copies of other products without having anything own

My feed is still majorly Shefi. I have no idea how to stop it. I don’t engage or stop the screen to read posts. But I also see new BTC holy war where some geniuses want to confiscate BTC That’s fun

For developers in management positions: Are Sundays the best for: - Coding - Planning - Self Education - Stockpiling Meals - Touching grass If you choose touching grass - we have nothing in common. I personally prefer coding(coz no one can interrupt) & meal stockpiling

yETH Exploit Deep Dive After spending some time exploring the recent yETH exploit, I quickly realized that it's easily one of the most sophisticated attacks I've ever seen. In fact, it was so complicated that every writeup I read misunderstood at least some part of the attack.

On top of the fact that Infura rpc works in 1 out of 15 tries (I’m not using some shared vpn nor other rate limiting causing issue) When I was starting in web3 infura was behind @Alchemy in ui admin usability, payments and speed. But it was much stable. Nonsense everywhere now
I’ve been advocating for @MetaMask since they actually started improving their extension. Just because I think any action is better than 5 years of inaction. But man I was wrong… The app is REALLY unusable atm. I know on a very low level how stuff works and still can’t use it

I confirm, Charles doesn’t seem to sleep either. I know this coz that’s probably the only person I know who I catch working as well both at 8am in the morning and 2am at night later on Glad to find someone who works as much as I do But Charles also manages to work out - I don’t
I often get asked what it takes to become a great auditor …. I can only speak from me and it took - no single day off in 4 years (1460 days) - auditing on my birthday - auditing when I’m sick - auditing on Christmas - auditing on new year - auditing on weekends This is

There is a critical vulnerability with 19th of 15-16 React versions Woke up to check all the frontends I ever touched. Had to update 6 of them

Really really interesting finding Honestly, it feels like the hacker(s) are improving themselves with every try. Both on the technical level & with speed they get from one hack to another at the same time
The @yearnfi hacker used hash-based address checks (not direct address comparisons) to prevent their exploit from being front-run or copied by MEV bots or otherplayers. This was a lesson learned from the Balancer hack, whers others observed and replay, their exploit transaction.

RWAs = TradFi on-chain. Bitcoin = the safest asset in crypto. How is that not the default stack? I just don’t get it why RWAs aren’t rushing to connect themselves any way they can to BTCFi. Especially since there are solutions for quick deployment with direct BTC access Midl?

I wake up every day saying that I’ve been overworking constantly, so perhaps I could take it slower today, maybe even have lunch with friends. This sentiment is gone by the time the coffee is drained through the V60, and then poof, it’s another 14-hour day behind. Only grind.
