đź§µYesterday we celebrated the graduation of 9 men from the HWPEP at MCF!. These graduates received bachelor's degrees they have worked hard to earn. Notably, these 9 are the very first cohort to complete this program - they're pioneers as Administrator Kyle Kaminski put it.

426 incarcerated individuals quickly approaching their parole date began by viewing their driving record, spoke with staff to understand the issues they face, completed testing, paid fines and fees, and if needed, spoke with pro-bono attorneys to receive legal guidance.

This week Central Michigan Correctional Facility in St. Louis hosted the largest Road to Restoration clinic inside a facility yet. A partnership with @MichSoS , RTR is a free clinic to assist Michigan residents in taking the next steps to get their driving privileges restored.

The recommended budget focuses on recruiting and retaining officers by investing in pay increases. With compressed pay steps, the budget would also see pay for officers who have worked more than 54 months increase to over $73,000 annually.
