In the new disclosure law, the maximum penalty for filing an inaccurate or incomplete report is $2,000, which is lower than most other states. Late filing fees can be paid out of their campaign committee

The financial disclosure law, which passed the House last night after 2:00 AM, will only require the disclosure of travel payments and reimbursements by "lobbyists and lobbyist agents under state law" which is something that is already disclosed on the lobbyist side
