My boyfriend took me to a show last night. Imagine his surprise when he found out what the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope is known for. The fact that he had no idea what he got himself into made me laugh harder than I have in years. Literal tears 🤣.

I have a soft spot for old lonely people, so when I accepted an invitation to lunch with an 80+ year old man, I thought it was my civic duty to accept. At the end of our meal, he said “Can we go on another sneaky date next week”? 😳 oops.

Still alive. In the process of moving into my parent’s basement apartment. This isn’t where I saw myself at 37, but I know better days are ahead. Putting my house on the market. I’ll never judge anyone who chooses to stay in a bad situation to avoid the turmoil and uncertainty.
