The estimated backlog now includes a new test: lung function and other respiratory tests, for which we estimate a backlog of 8,848. These tests help to diagnose, treat and monitor conditions like asthma, COPD and pulmonary fibrosis and assess fitness for lung surgery. (🧵5/6)

Feb. 15, MB schools return to Yellow under Pandemic Response System, which requires cohorts in K to 6. Masks are req indoors for staff & students but will not be required during phys-ed. Medical masks will be recommended but no longer req for school staff @ctvwinnipeg

Manitoba plans to remove proof of vax requirements March 1. In personal care homes, shelters, & health-care facilities, public health officials have continued to work with facilities to notify close contacts. Effective March 8, this will no longer occur. @ctvwinnipeg

Close contacts will no longer be required to self-isolate tho public health still recommends it for ppl in homes w/ symptomatic ppl or test +. Self-isolation requirements for ppl entering the province gone. Public health orders restricting travel to north MB stay. @ctvwinnipeg

New public health orders in MB as of Feb. 15. Capacity limits gone for restaurants, licensed premises, ent. venues, in & out sporting events & casinos, homes. Capacity limits gone for outdoor public gatherings but limit of 50 ppl indoors unless proof of vax is req. @ctvwinnipeg
