I don't understand why there wasn't a WMU Facilities Management summer picnic this summer. Since I've worked in Facilities Management there was one in 2023 and 2024, but not this year.

I hope Michigan State and Illinois paid Western Michigan millions of dollars for us to play them. It's not a fair competition because Big Ten schools have a much larger budget than Mid-American Conference schools.

It would be nice if WMU's new President had the authority to exempt WMU employees from income taxes. I don't think he can legally do that unfortunately. 😢.

WMU is a tax-exempt organization. WMU employees should also be tax-exempt.

WMU has its own gas station next to the Campus Services Building on Oliver St. It has two gasoline pumps and two diesel pumps. It is strictly for WMU use such as for WMU vehicles or filling up gas cans. Someone would get in serious trouble if they used it for personal use!.

I ate this fish today. It was my first time eating Pike and I think it was pretty tasty. Caught it in Gun Lake.
