I love buying domain names that are registered in multiple extensions. It shows widespread use in commerce and culture. 10 TLDs is πͺ. 100+ TLDs is πͺπͺ. 200+ TLDs is πͺπͺπͺ. But there are great brands that have only one extension too. π§

I'm thinking about building a platform where domain investors compete to see who can buy and sell the most names in 3 months. How do I stop cheating, like selling to friends or self-dealing, so the stats show real investor or end-user sales? What rules or tech would solve this?

Congrats to @AmmarKubba and AskWisdomβ€ai on the sale/purchase of Wisdomβ€ai. $750,000 sale tops the public sales charts at @DNJournal for .ai sales, beating out youβ€ai and cloudβ€ai. Check out the options they had to choose from, which clearly aren't as good as Wisdomβ€ai.

"The proof is in the pudding." Iβm excited to see real success stories emerge as the financialization of domain names develops, with hopefully less hype and more proof. The players: @RDAOToken (by @ECorp, since 2020) @onRallyRd (not blockchain, domains since 2024) @Domoracom

Domain name investors drive early sales in every new TLD launch. Without investors, how far would registry revenue fall?

Great domain names require no explanation. Good domain names sometimes do because we don't know everything. I'm always amazed how many massive niches exist in the world.

I don't usually scan closeouts and low-priced auctions, but for the @DNAcademy Investor Challenge it's a daily habit. Yesterday, I spent 12 minutes searching. In 6 months, I turned $500 into $3,475 (after commissions), just by spending ~10 min a day hunting deals on @GoDaddy.

Some people collect rare art, vintage wine, or luxury handbags. I'd much rather collect a powerful domain name. To each their own. Celebrate what you love.
