Honoured to attend the Korean War Veterans Day ceremony at the AB Legislature. Today we remember the 27,000 Canadians who fought valiantly to defend peace, freedom, and democracy on the Korean Peninsula, including 516 soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Lest we forget.

Enjoyed riding the train with elected officials from our region at the Fête au Village parade in Legal. The Fête is a summer tradition in Legal, celebrating the Town’s rich history and heritage.

Great to attend the Darwell Bull Bash this weekend—an evening featuring bull riding, live music and games. Drawing a big crowd every year, the Bull Bash is a volunteer effort organized by the Darwell & District Agricultural Society.

Attended the dedication of a new exhibit at the Alberta Beach Heritage Village honouring the resilience of the Lac Ste. Anne Métis community. The exhibit—featuring a traditional trapper’s tent—was a collaboration between the Museum and the Lac Ste. Anne Métis Community Assoc.

Visited the North Ridge Lodge in St. Albert to provide a summer update on key federal issues over coffee. Lots of good conversations and input from the residents as always.
