@LasVegasLocally Actually rain makes F1 events 10 times more interesting. F1 races in the rain, unlike Nascar. Unless its a complete downpour for hours, the race goes on. And because its under the lights no need to worry about the sun going down.

For those questioning the new Boring Company Tunnel from Central Hall to Encore: to walk it would take 1.3 miles and over half an hour in the elements. To ride $3.12 each way ($4 one way) and takes about 90 seconds. It’s faster because it’s a direct path under the buildings,

Went to a 5 Guys in LA to see how expensive it was. Nearly $30 (with tip) for the cheapest meal. Can you imagine 2 people eating and it’s nearly $60? If you make $20/hr that’s 4 hours of work after taxes. This has to suck money from the average guy.

Thoughts on the Vegas Grand Prix from someone who went to both last years and this years event. I thought they really nailed last year and it was shocking how well it went off given the time and complexity. It’s a huge event with many layers. If any layer fails it all fails.

So this is my day in Florence Italy. Had Breakfast. Passed out. Ambulance to hospital. 11:30 had a heart stent put in 90% blocked artery. Hospital care here is simply excellent. I’m resting comfortably now. No pain or painkillers. If I am lucky I might be released Tuesday.
