units responded to a medical call involving one patient aboard a sailboat.
#FireBoat21
was able to successfully extricate the patient from the vessel and transport them to a nearby dock. The patient was then transported to a local area hospital.

were at the unveiling of the first Aden Perry Life Safety Ring at Glades Park in Doral, demonstrating how to operate new rings. The Aden Perry Life Ring Initiative seeks to install Coast Guard-regulated rescue rings around South Florida.

house fire near NW 146 St. and NW 2 Ave. Units were able to locate the source of the fire in a bedroom, initiated a fire attack & put the fire out. There were no reported injuries, but unfortunately, one house pet perished in the fire

grass fire near SW 112 Ave. & SW 256 St. Air Rescue was dispatched to conduct water drops to aid in extinguishing the flames. MDFR units continued working with the FL Forest Service to bring the fire under control.

Alarm house fire near NW 30 Ave. & NW 100 St. One dog was rescued from the fire & returned to its owner, unharmed. There were no reported injuries, & the cause of the fire is under investigation.
