يقول الله تعالى:"إنّا كلَّ شيءٍ خلقناه بقَدَرٍ"، وقال:"وخَلَقَ كل شيء فقدَّره تقديراً"، وقال:"سبِّح اسمَ ربك الأعلى الذي خلق فسوَّى والذي قدَّرَ فهَدَىٰ".
وهذا التقدير الرباني يجعلُ المؤمن في حال دائمة من الرضا بالقَدَر والقضاء، "وإيمانُه ينعقد على أن ذلك من الله بعلمٍ وحكمة".
