He didn’t want to use D Rob for the 9th so he would be available for HOU. Look how that turned out, didn’t pitch in any of the 3 games. Can’t manage like that, need to be aggressive. Need to go and win the game. (2/2)

Buck has got to be better. There’s no way to justify Robertson not going back out for the 9th Sunday against STL. He threw 8 pitches in the 8th, game tied a 7 after the boys rallied from down big. Otto has been horrible all year. Need to manage for today and not tomorrow (1/2)

The 2022 Mets didn’t make mental errors like this. Walker has 0 chance to get Peña at first and still tries to make this boneheaded play. McNeil made a similar mental error against the Yankees, can’t happen.

Watching Jacob deGrom pitch brought me great joy. The guy reached a level of dominance no other man has on a mound. Today is a sad day for myself and the entire baseball world.

Anybody celebrating the deGrom news is a scumbag. The guy got way more money from Texas and took it, there’s no reason to hate him for that.

I would much rather see Alvarez just frame that pitch for strike 3 instead of trying to throw Turner out a third with the jump he got. But you can’t deny Alvarez has been tremendous defensively and is an absolute dog.

Daniel Vogelbach should not be getting this many chances. Vientos and Escobar are way better options right now.
