Sampling preparations underway for the latest @MethanePredict rumen sampling run. 80 sucklers, having their methane emissions estimated, will be sampled to try identify rumen 🦠s associated with high and low methane output at grass! @teagasc @byrnecolinj

Another busy day on the Methane-Predict project in @teagasc . 48 bullocks, undergoing methane measurements, rumen sampled. These samples, along with others collected in Ireland and @AgResearchNEWS, will be used to validate the rumen microbiome as a proxy for methane emissions!
