You know what you need to do. So why do you still hit the same invisible wall? It’s a mental block your mind hasn’t let go of yet. I wrote a short piece on how to rewire it, so action is effortless. Read here: https://t.co/HMLWYcl1uk

Yerkes Dodson Law: Stress is a performance enhancing drug. Your subconscious provides it for focus. It knows your work matters. Once you realise it's an ally, it's no longer an enemy.
At a certain level of responsibility, you realise the most powerful productivity hack is this: Someone’s life improves when you do your work well.

If you built your identity on success, you’ll crumble the second it slows. If you don’t know who you are without it, you were never in control. Separate who you are from what you do. Refuse to be defined. Impose your worth without needing to prove it.

Don’t tie your worth to performance. The more you do, the more fragile you become. Pressure exposes weakness when identity depends on outcomes.

Founder Nightly insomnia. Relentless next-day rehearsal. Five weeks later: Seven hours of uninterrupted sleep. Calm at night. Capable in the morning.

What do your children inherit from this version of you? Resilience? Or patterns they’ll have to undo later? They’re watching. Even when you think they aren’t.

Symbolism is the mind’s first language. Even the alphabet is just symbols for meaning. So are logos, colours, locations. It’s how the subconscious speaks. That’s why environment matters. Meeting a new client in a café builds rapport before you speak. Warm drink. Warm

I suggested this 5-minute gratitude visualization to a client last week (5x a day), and although I’m generally sceptical of this kind of thing, they told me last night, “I just feel constantly optimistic and excited about life again.”
Subconscious Fact of the Day: Gratitude interrupts fear at the neurological level. Not hope. Not positive thinking. Gratitude. Focus on what's working and your brain stops scanning for threats. That's how you shift from survival mode to growth mode.

The older I get, the clearer this becomes: I don’t have it all figured out. I know what I’m good at. When I’m stuck, I hire someone who knows more than I do. Life runs smoother that way.

“Things are going well professionally. Have been adding business at a pretty rapid pace lately. Some of it random opportunity, but your help has been meaningful in terms of mindset and physical protocols, which have allowed me to step into it.”

One of the best systems I’ve built is splitting my month into two phases. For 3 weeks I focus on: • Relentless productivity • Family responsibilities Then 1 week I shift to: • Travel and social life • Arts and play Keeps me sharp, creative, and balanced.
The #1 anecdote for burnout is an impromptu, 3 day solo trip to a big city you’re unfamiliar with Can’t have a plan either. Just a beat up leather jacket and a pack of cigarettes Instantly catapults you back into a state of childlike curiosity. Flaneuring. Mini adventures

If you can separate who you are from what you do, stress loses control. There’s a version of you that exists only for the work. The rest of you doesn’t belong to it. That’s how problems stay at work, and the rest of life stays yours.

You’re not burnt out. You’re afraid the strong self-image you spent decades building is a lie. Because pressure is harder to manage and if they knew this they would think less of you. That war within, between outer and inner is the reason you can’t enjoy the life you built.

Financial advisor. Panic attacks almost ended his career. Now he leads with composure once again. We rebuilt the identity that performs under pressure.

My writing isn’t here to comfort you. It’s here to change you. My words are designed to work on your subconscious. The more you return to them, the faster you outgrow what holds you back. Cogito Ergo Sum.
At work you solve problems fast. At home you constantly replay them. Which is the real you; the strategist who acts without hesitation, or the overthinker who can’t let go? Until that’s clear, you’ll always wonder if you’ve lost the version of you everything was built on.

Approaching work like an athlete is one of the smartest mindset shifts you can make especially if you care about longevity. Train for the game. Maximise recovery. Impossible to burn out. Yin yang of high performance.

Therapy couldn’t ease the pressure he felt under attention. But our work did. Now he leads with composure. Glad to have played my part.
