I missed this yesterday but a pretty neat display of noctilucent clouds in the early hours of yesterday. There’s a lot of detailed structure in that - more of a chance tonight it seems.

Away from southern England, the heat being modelled for parts of Scotland is quite something. UKV has 34°C modelled on Sunday just east of Stirling, which would be 8°C ABOVE the date record of 26°C. It would also break the all time record in the area which sits around 30C by 4C!

GFS continues to pump out stupidly hot temperatures in Europe - it has 47C at the Croatian and Hungarian border 15 days out. The maximum temperature record in Hungary & Croatia is 41.9°C & 42.8°C so this would be breaking the all-time records for both by nearly 5°C!
