A dream season for the Glendale Nitros fell just short. However, with the star trio of Kana Baker, Mika Brown and Arev Avedian returning for their final season, they hope to graduate with a CIF title after playing together all four years of high school.

It takes guts and dedication to come back from injuries. La Cañada High School’s Josh Carruthers not only pushed through his injuries and losing his home in the Eaton Fires but made sure to take it to another level for his team .

The balance of being a student athlete is no easy task. Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy graduate Marisol Cowles’ game in the pool speaks for itself but her determination to be even better in the classroom has set her up for collegiate success.

Recent graduate of La Cañada High School and two-sport star Quest Swan receives beaming reviews from coaches and peers. His level of play on and off the field tells the story of why these words of positivity comes as no surprise .
