#ElginWine Thank you Elgin for a superb and very educational tasting. So enjoyable. It has shown how good Sauvignons from the valley are and how cool climate affects these wine in such a good way. They impress, they last, they are worthwhile.

#ElginWine @Almenkerk 2010 Sauvignon Blanc. Privileged to taste one as old as this. Lees showing richness and complexity. Amazing that there is still such good acidity, minerality and even some chalky tannins. Well done Joris. Bank it!

Wine is all about preference. There is no right and no wrong. To each his own palate but for me I personally have a preference for older white wine and flight two is definitely starting to head in this direction #ElginWine
