So imma go ahead and say it: Yes, Expedition 33 deserved those awards. Yes, the game is that great and super fun. No, this game isn’t for everyone. Yes, I still think you should play it. Yes the hype is real. Yes this is a top 10 game of the 2020s.

If Valve hopes to be competitive in the console market, $750 is too steep. They will easily make the money back from just Steam market. The max I can see is $599 just to be an option for the average gaming consumer.

If Expedition 33 wins GOTY, I will replay the game again. If it wins 6 awards, I will replay it with modifiers. IF IT SWEEPS, I WILL REPLAY WITH MODIFIERS AND PARRY ONLY!

I would love to see E33 win but imma be real, this year has been so stacked and so good for gaming. Especially in the indie space. Also, @AbsolumGame is so much fun and I’m happy it’s being acknowledged here!

Absolum might be heat. Combat is starting to become better (still working on the dodging mechanics for these bosses. That’s when things become manageable). But man pulling off combos with some of the characters is *chefs kiss*

I want to believe the studio is establishing a new way forward. With the departure of Pete Parsons, it’s in a much deserved recovery state. And if I was Bungie, I would avoid making drastic changes until a proper vision is established.

My criticism only lies in some of the movement in the game (like no mantle or better gliding mechanics) as well as much room for improvement in the combat. I think GameFreak can take this formula and find a way to wiggle it into the mainline games, but we will see.

Just rolled the credits for Legenda Z-A and I have to say this was a very solid game. Story was pretty dope, the mechanics is a bit more polished from its predecessor, and the combat is still very well done.
