Jay also clutched out a game 5 win (one of his three in a row over the course of the night) over Coribo in their first full set vs each other, with the Puff player taking a game 1 win off the back of some big rests, but not quite having the same momentum near the end.

CoolGamer-Jay beat Shaman Anarchist (going Mario game 1 then Luigi the rest of the set) in a heated game 5 set filled with taunts and capped off with trash talk. A fun watch in a matchup you never see, with DK getting guaranteed combos vs Luigi that are rare for other characters.

Westfallz took his first ever set off of Mekk in the first set of Grand Finals. The last time these two played Jigglypuff vs. Ganondorf (other matchups were Jiggs vs. Falcon and Falcon vs. Ganondorf) was at the ESTV Invitational on January 4 of this year.
