https://t.co/OJ2rojbQIV Almost 1/2 of the att gap at 16 is already in place before ch start school, and a child’s dev by 22 months serves as a predictor of ed outcomes at 26yo Investment in the EY is crucial and yet it is the most overlooked sector. @ThriveApproach #EYFS #Trauma

Unbelievable!
@SingeB I’ve not ever read the report (aside from the bullet points at the start) and genuinely can’t remember much about the inspection. One of the ‘This school is inadequate because’ bullets was that the headteacher cares too much about the emotional and mental health of its pupils.

Acceptance v Awareness ... to reflect the fact that autistic people want to live in a more inclusive world: a world where they are accepted in society and able to live a life of choice and opportunity A sense of belonging is crucial for + physical/mental health. @thriveapproach

Interesting. My MIL would love this. She told me 35 years ago the reason my (undiagnosed ASD) baby had communication delay was due to my choice of pushchair! 🙄 Clearly there were other factors but...
Do you know that manufacturers of infant strollers & car seats STILL have NO IDEA at all that the products they produce & sell influence t developmnt of children’s brains & stress systems? They have no idea they bear a moral responsibility to get educated.

Children instinctively know what they need and if you ask, their No1 priority is more time for play! Play helps ch be creative, learn problem-solving skills and learn self-control - but also helps children to be physically and mentally healthy. #play #SEMH @ThriveApproach

Wonderful - a clear example of noticing adults care and show affection towards each other. Be what you want to see 🌈 The little people are always watching 👀
Never forget that toddlers reflect the words, actions, and attitudes of their caregivers. What does this morning greeting tell you about this classroom?

This is such a great idea. When times are tough it's helpful to know what others appreciate about you. I still have mine and on low days, look back on it to help me. 🌈 #Feedback #selfworth #Kindness #mentalhealthsupport
The @ThriveApproach works as well for our staff team. 💛 A great team building activity as staff anonymously wrote what they value about their colleagues. A boost to morale and confidence to get through some of the those tricky moments in school. #thisisAP #relationshipsmatter
