Phew wait til you hear what these politicians sound like unedited. America, prepare to hear a lot of bloviating!.
Some news: Following backlash from Kristi Noem over "Face the Nation" interview edits, CBS says in a statement that it has "implemented a new policy for greater transparency" and will now air interviews unedited (either live or aired later on). *subject to national security or.

Also, I was reporting overseas earlier this summer, and I was suprised how many people asked me about Mamdani. People around the world are watching to see whether someone so critical of Israel can actually win this race. Me too.

Watching NYC's mayoral campaign for the wild, realtime illustration of just how irate moneyed interests & political machines get, & how insanely far they'll go, on the very rare occasions when they can't just tell people who to vote for.

The discussions are said to be part of an effort to get Mayor Eric Adams to end his mayoral campaign in New York City, clearing a path for Andrew Cuomo.

Does conservative America hate transgender people even more than it loves its guns? . TBD.
“Individuals within the DOJ are reviewing ways to ensure that mentally ill individuals suffering from gender dysphoria are unable to obtain firearms while they are unstable and unwell,” one source inside the Justice Department tells me.

The warrants are not fake, they are not a ploy. The fact that they were issued at all is testament to the gravity and strength of the evidence.

4. Khan was, on the other hand, blocked from entering Gaza on his 1st trip despite making "every effort to enter." .5. Israel's efforts to undermine the ICC are well-documented. Surveillance, smears, and a Mossad threat against Khan's predecessor.

Exclusive: Investigation reveals how intelligence agencies tried to derail war crimes prosecution, with Netanyahu ‘obsessed’ with intercepts

A few glaring points:.1. Khan is indeed on leave for sexual misconduct allegations.2. As prosecutor, Khan applied for the warrants but did not have the power to issue them -- that was a decision from the court itself, made months later.3. Khan did visit Israel to investigate.

Bizarre: International fugitive Netanyahu just put out a video dismissing his outstanding ICC warrants (for crimes against humanity!) as a fake, trumped up effort by ICC prosecutor Karim Khan to distract everyone from his sexual misconduct allegations.

How is it not real to people that this is happening, this is still happening, and unlike Ukraine or countless other places, it’s happening because our government is using every means ($, arms, cover, intel, support) to keep it going.

Kind of an indictment of the UAE that the Abraham Accords are still intact, that it took this long to make a vague public threat.
Wow. This is the first occasion on which, to my knowledge, Emirati officials have publicly stated that the survival of the Abraham Accords is on the line. @AzizAlghashian & @glcarlstrom could verify.

Food trucks get blocked and outside journalists are banned, but Israeli civilians and settlers can go to Gaza with demolition equipment to happily work on flattening anything still standing.
🧵2/5.They aren't part of a regular military unit, but rather small groups that form through independent initiatives. They are civilians, many of them settlers, who are mobilized into the reserves through contracting companies.

They may be nice people. I don’t know. I have a lot of disagreement with their work product. Why is LinkedIn trolling me with these emails?.

I wonder if it’s a common experience to get constant emails from LinkedIn suggesting I connect with the same 3 or 4 people who I don’t know personally and who — how can I put this politely — are probably the last people in my field I’d want to connect with. Or if it’s just me.

We should not be afraid to use words that mean the thing we are describing.

In a sense, Gaza is a war. Hamas is fighting back, and Israelis are suffering casualties. But given the context of genocide and ethnic cleansing, the violence happening in a completely enclosed and besieged place, the discrepancy in power, arms, etc -- war is a strange word.

Genocide is happening in Gaza. The expert consensus is overwhelming. Not only should the word "genocide" be used, but newsrooms/headline writers should reconsider the long-dubious choice of describing Gaza as a "war." .
