"Stormy" the wayward Leach's Storm-Petrel is back again for the 5th year. Bermuda is far south of Stormy's Atlantic breeding territory. Watch and listen here as the bird vocalizes repeatedly during an overnight feeding visit from an adult cahow.

you may think it's called a "bay-breasted warbler" because of its reddish-brown spring plumage. but i asked this bird, who said it's because he's utterly obsessed with Old Bay seasoning and gets it all over himself when he eats maryland-style crabs. go figure
