9 Volunteers, 2 Hours, 45 Trolleys, 12 bags of litter - 1 big difference!.🛒 We joined @MedwaySwaleEP at Janes Creek, Strood to clear trolleys from the waterway. Thanks @Morrisons for kindly providing refreshments. All trolleys were recycled. Thanks to all that took part ♻

📄 Did you know that you can recycle shredded paper in your brown bin? Mix it in with food and garden waste and we'll turn it into compost. We can also compost greasy pizza boxes and chip paper. Another great way to get the best out of your brown bin!📰.#MedwayRecycles ♻

The team joined @child_medway at their City Hall event in May. Whilst there, we asked the children to suggest names for our new recycling truck. And the winner is. 'Optimus Grime, Recycling Time' Congratulations to Amelia for her excellent entry!

❓Why do we ask you to squash plastic bottles?.Bottles are cylindrical, they roll on the sorting conveyer belt, making it difficult for the sorting machine to recognise. Squashing bottles stops them rolling, and helps you to fit more in your recycling bag 😀♻️👍.#MedwayRecycles
