Yesterday the MFC was present at the @OSCE Warsaw Human Dimension Comference, on the panel “Safeguarding Women Journalists to Enhance Media Freedom, Security, and Democracy”.

As a @MediaFreedomC member, Canada remains deeply concerned about the ongoing detention of Chinese journalist Zhang Zhan. Freedom of expression and independent media are essential to inclusive societies. Journalists must be free to work without undue interference.
