Note: Kilauea's tilt meters are intended to show if magma beneath the crater is inflating the volcano or deflating. They have no business recording Kamchatka earthquakes. Yet they couldn't avoid it.

Might get to experience my first tsunami. Expected to arrive in 4 hours 13 minutes. My place is a 2 mile walk to the ocean, a wave wouldn't make it here. So I'll have to walk towards the shore to get a better look.

I drove up there late last night, watched for couple hours, 1am-3am. Here's a clip from the footage I filmed. Good thing I went, the eruption ended by mid-day today! A short-term burst of life in the form of molten lava flying in the air.
