So their technical failure that led to the the inconvenience of me nearly missing my train and having to buy two tickets means I have to pay an admin fee? Make it make sense. It's not even the money but more the principle. Is this something that @RailOmbudsman can help with?

Spent 25 minutes on the phone to them + they said to apply for a refund online. Just got the refund through: Ticket price was £5.60, so they've refunded me that, minus a £5 admin fee?!

The absolute grifters at @TLRailUK 🤬 ... bought a ticket on the Thameslink app last week and the app failed to generate a QR code so I couldn't get through the gate, nearly missed my train + had to buy a paper ticket.

There are lots of good reasons to take the train instead of fly but one of the main things that stops me is that you can’t book a train 6+ months ahead of time, it’s so inconvenient.

My dentist in Berlin is so old school. Every year I hope he has implemented online appointment booking so I can avoid the phone call and every year he hasn’t. I saw he had an email address so I wrote and asked if I can book an appointment for November.

I’ve done the 5+ hour drive down the M4 from Hertfordshire to Swansea and back three times in 7 days and now twice in 24hr and said goodbye to my beloved last remaining grandparent so far this holiday, now I really need a holiday 😥😥
