Here it is! I put together this map showing the storm total snowfall accumulation for the recent winter storm. The data used is based on the National Operational Hydrologic Remote Sensing Center's (NOHRSC) National Gridded Snowfall Analysis. Please share!

My parents have gotten at least 6” of snow so far at their house in Stokesdale, NC. Plenty more to come too! You can see how dry and fluffy the snow is, which leads to a quicker accumulation. @TimBuckleyWX @DylanHudlerWX

I might be stepping on some purist toes, but I really don’t enjoy watching playoff football in whiteout conditions. Give me a dome environment all day long. And, yes, I know the snow affects both teams on the field.

I’m a diehard Falcons fan, and I have to agree. Every controversial call by these officials has gone against the Panthers.

Ignoring the fact that he confused a tornado watch and warning, Pat McAfee commits a common sin in the meteorological community by complaining about a live cut-in to a football game. Look, I love sports as much as anybody, but the meteorologist was just doing his job.
Tornado watch cutting into the game in December?!? Hope everyone stays safe but.. also.. this meteorologist is a weapon of mass destruction
