On my spring break with no travel plans so seemed like a good time to complete my @OPENPhysEd teacher certification. Has some great stuff on UDL and SEL. Pro tip for #PhysEd Ts: talk with your admin about using Title II funds for PD that’s actually relevant for you like this

❄️ day home from school means my little guy gets to help me groom our school fat 🚲trails. I use a snow dog machine with some modifications from our HS tech Ss. Not sure what is more fun; biking with my Ss on the trails, or grooming them! 🤷♂️

Incredible privilege to get to coach my sons as they win Bantam 4A State Championship. It’s a good feeling when all the hard work and shots in the off season come together for a common team goal. Proud of you boys!

It starts like medic dodgeball but with soft tip arrows and barriers. When a team knocks down the opponent’s cardboard tower, they can invade past the line. Goal of the game is to retrieve the flag from the other team and return it to their side.

So this isn’t a game that I would teach at a SHAPE conference 😆but when our morning activity class is indoors it is an optional choice activity filled with fun, teamwork, and adventure! We call it Castle Invaders.

Our daily morning class getting outdoors for fresh air, sun, and some XC skiing today. Brains are ready to focus and learn in math class next. My favorite way to start the day with these students.

Thanks so much to @ChristieMtn for providing downhill ski lessons to our students! We had an amazing day on the slopes. Lots of memories made and lifetime outdoor physical activity skills acquired.
