THANK YOU, DENTON! I'm so grateful for every single voter, volunteer, & donor that supported this campaign. Last night, we secured a second term for Denton. Like I said from the beginning of this campaign, we have more work to do in the council chambers. Let's get to work.

Today, SNAP benefits have expired for 42 million low income Americans. Meanwhile, our Congress members are on an extended vacation. They should both absolutely be ashamed of themselves. Denton should remember next year @RonnyJacksonTX @RepBrandonGill

Water conservation is still the most critical issue facing the City of Denton for the next 50 years. I'm proud to be able to support our staff embracing technology and bringing more cost savings to all residents and businesses. De https://t.co/ZAcnQEcUEh

Last week, the Denton City Council moved the city’s utilities closer to full automation with a new pilot program using digital water meters — in part to catch leaks sooner

Childcare is so essential. Government's job ought to be providing opportunities for as many people to enter the workforce as possible so that our streets are safer and our families thrive!
New Mexico has become the first state in the country to guarantee universal child care to families residing in the state. Families will be eligible for free child care for infants and toddlers starting Nov. 1, no matter their incomes.

As one who consumes a lot of content, I've been following and listening to @charliekirk11 for years. His perspective on issues has served to solidify my thinking on those same issues. What happened him today was senseless and very unnecessary. My heart hurts for his wife and kids

We are currently entering the warmest part of the summer in North Texas. Its more important now than ever that Council follow committee advice from my original pitch and work toward having every new construction building in Denton be Electric Vehicle and Solar roof ready.

This tragedy has been heavy on my heart the past couple of weeks but what I know about Texas I learned right here in Denton. Texas always overcomes because Texans support each other, and pray for one another.

I was thrilled to celebrate #Juneteenth by attending an annual party presented by Nate Johnson and Aundrea Young. It was great to be able to speak to the sold out crowd along side my friend and P&Z Commissioner Sherri McDade.

Yesterday a majority of Council chose to move forward with exploring a second fossil fuel energy source. I'm proud to have fought for public engagement. If we're going to spend hundreds of millions of dollars, the people have the right to be engaged and heard

I'm so proud to live in a city that still protects the right to peacefully assemble in a gorgeous downtown setting. Thank you @indivisibleDNTN

This is a winning strategy for Denton. The long-term smart move for Denton is to keep fighting for a more sustainable future, and frankly to be seen doing it. With that said, it’s always a priority for me to support regular working folks. What are your thoughts on this?

By being 100 percent renewable, we're helping make the world become a more sustainable place. By being bold in that way, we're making Denton stand out and attract employers that share those values. And we're doing all this while delivering affordable, reliable power.
