The foundation supports 200 girls in Malawi to stay in school. This article shows how it is poverty that stops girls from reaching their potential. No girl should be denied an eduction because of money.

It was not pregnancy itself, but resource constraints, that kept Malawian girls from school during and after the pandemic.

Tomorrow tropical Storm Jude hits Malawi and our scholars in Balaka, Zomba and Salima will be affected by school closures. The lives, homes and crops of millions of Malawians will be at risk. Climate change affects those with the least.

Today is Commonwealth Day when we celebrate the bonds of friendship that link 56 countries including Malawi and UK. Together we are stronger.
All is set for this year's Commonwealth Day celebrations in Lilongwe, with crowds gathering at Game Complex for a march to CIVO Stadium. Sporting activities have been lined up to mark the occasion, which will be graced by Fiona Ritchie, the British High Commissioner to Malawi.
