Ss love using diff color pens during WW! I love it too bc it makes their thinking visible & gives insight into whether they understand the writing process. It’s a work in progress, but black is for planning/drafting, blue is revising & green is editing. #WeAreChappaqua #RBPride

First graders read the book, You Are Enough. Students learned to be proud of who they are and to embrace their individuality. They painted self portraits to show just how unique and special they are! #WeAreChappaqua #RBPride

Today we created a “fish bowl” in Reading Workshop to show what a good book club looks like and sounds like. We talked about what we noticed and then the clubs met to discuss their own texts! #WeAreChappaqua #RBPride

During our read aloud discussion circle, we kept track of how many people shared, used evidence from the text and encouraged others to talk. This helped us reflect on our strengths and where we can still improve! #WeAreChappaqua #RBPride
