Rourke Farms research tour at Minto today, seeing how soybean and dry bean seeding rate, row space, and tillage practice trials, and pulses zero tilled into cover crops are looking. Will be very interesting to see yield results!

At an On-Farm Network dry bean row spacing trial I saw more lambs quaretrs weed pressure in the 30'' rows compared to the 15'' rows. We did not quantify the weed denstiy or biomass but I suspect fewer weeds in the narrow rows due to crop competition. Lets wait for the yield!
