I'd like to take a bikeshare ride to some magical place where other riders don't leave bikes all over the sidewalk. If you're going to continue licensing these vendors, you need to require them to clean up their abandonned bikes on a nightly basis- if not more frequent!

I will ride my own bike in traffic, squished into the parking lane where I can feel the heat of the traffic on one side while I pray no one hops out of their car in the parking lane and doors me.

I was taught to ride my bike facing the traffic for safety reason. Why were lanes made so that the bicyclist can't see the traffic?
