With an increase in electric vehicles and lithium-ion battery use, the Fire Dept. continues to prepare for evolving environments. Incorporation of Turtle Device is used to apply water to undercarriage of Electric Vehicles & cooling large battery cells during suppression efforts.

Our Fire Dept. continues to increase the number of skilled, certified first responders providing quality, prompt assistance, specialized response, State-of-the-art equipment. 29 new recruits hired in August, completing training, joining the ranks of the Fire Dept. this month.
