You ever eat something so spicy it gives you hiccups?.

I've tried my options and Resolve works for me. And with Ver 20.1, it fulfills all my necessities and I see no reason to switch at the moment!.But every software has it's strengths and I hope every editor and team has the opportunity to find what works for them!.

I've used and deployed Davinci Resolve for 4~ years, so partly out of experience bias. It suits my use-case, dealing with 3+ hour footage handling and management. Node Based FX is also my comfort zone, having come from Blender, allowing for better VFX flexibility.

It's hard to find the motivation to work on long-term personal projects, especially when I'm used to most projects being done in under 2 weeks. But I learn SO much from working on them, even the ones I don't publish. But I'm looking forward to sharing a big one soon!.
