Similarly the racist will jump to migrants bad. But their core problem might be capitalism. The effect they see is eg. traffic on the commute to work. How they get from a > b is usually okish logic but based on some misunderstanding or preconcieved notion(false or bigoted)

Since it functions in the same way as conspiracy theorists. In that a quite radical final position can be arrived at by way of a lot of small reasonable sounding propositions. Any attempt to point out the unreasonableness of these small steps is met with demands for proof

There exists a portion of conservative appologists who launder racist and otherwise bigoted views through civility. While this isnt new it is driving young white men especially to see conservative as the reasonable and default.
