These are ‘27, 4⭐️s. Let’s see which one of them stay home and play for @ASUFootball or @ArizonaFBall? They’ll tell you that “a lot of kids don’t want to.stay home.” That maybe true but the necessary EFFORT to give them a good enough reason to stay is key.

@ASUFootball typically waits until a kid has 10 or 15 offers before they pull the trigger. Let’s be honest, you can’t be serious about recruiting local kids if you lag that far behind other schools. Particularly if they’re right in your backyard. You can’t make that make sense.

The desire simply isn’t and hasn’t been there to keep kids here. Out of @247Sports AZ Top 10 ZERO signed with @ASUFootball and 1 with UofA. They don’t feel they need to recruit AZ kids to be successful. It’s been that way.

College Coaches; Don’t tell kids they can’t take another OV after they’ve gave you a commitment. What are you scared of? You gotta trust that you’ve earned that kid’s loyalty. If I’m looking for a house I gotta visit a bunch of houses before I find a home. He’s on a verbal 🤷🏽‍♂️.

This is also another reason why athletes should have the money conversation on your OV. What needs to be “approved” and why? It’s always about CONTROL with these people. Makes no sense why an athlete would need “approval.” 🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️.

Instead of “D1 or Bust” it should be “4.0 GPA or Bust.” MINIMUM! A lot more opportunities to play at the next level for a FREE education if you’re a baller and you assert yourself in the classroom! Grades over everything. Nothing wrong with playing down to play up if you have to.

Power4 Recruits & Mom & Dad! When you get on campus for your OV act like you’re the prize; Do not leave without talking MONEY! Don’t let them finesse you because they will! They probably won’t talk about it if you don’t. That is a BUSINESS trip.
