The ice cream scene is one of my favorites. It's the point in the film where Hammond truly reflects on the chaos he created. The film slows down, and we truly get a moment to understand the reality and the consequences of tampering with nature.
I swear I'm having deja vu whenever someone brings up the Brachiosaurus or Tyrannosaurus scenes from Jurassic Park Yes, we all know these are brilliant scenes. You seriously don't have ONE other scene from the film to talk about?? Let alone the rest of the franchise??

It blows my mind how short this track was, but how immersive, huge, and long the ride actually felt, and how they were able to tell a compelling story in that short amount of time and space. They truly do not build em' like this anymore.

I really do wonder if the next generation will become as fascinated with the parks as previous generations were, and what effect that will have on the longevity of the parks in the minds of the public in the future. The kids of today experience Disney totally differently.
@Mattlegostar2 The new generation will just have big e-ticket rides with 90 minute waits. No more special unique experiences like this that us as fans love about Disney

It sucks that we are losing these spaces at Walt Disney World. Words are hard to describe the feeling of this photo... What's beyond this bridge? Why is it a little ominous? Is it safe to cross? Its like playing in the woods as a child and finding something you shouldn't have.

Universal would go on to build a version of the hotel in the late 90s after a lot of Disney Imagineers had jumped ship! It is based on the actual Portofino Bay in Italy. Not to be out-done however, Disney ended up building the hotel they wanted, just in Tokyo a few years after!
One thing I wish ended up being built at Disney World is the Venetian Resort. It would have been built between the Transportation and Ticket Center and the Contemporary Resort and was supposed to open in the 1970s. It ended up not happening because of energy crisis of the 70s.

With the recent Waymo in Orlando announcement this would be a great time to announce Magical Express returning, just saying. (Photo Credit: Attractions Magazine)
It has now been 1,515 days since Magical Express ended. Hey Josh, this would be a slam dunk thing to bring back to appease fans. Just think about it. 🚍

I like them. It was quite the ambitious movie technologically speaking, especially since the tech for this only became mainstream 7 years prior thanks to Jurassic Park. It is the first feature-length animated film to use entirely CGI characters against real world backdrops too.

Get ready for I4 traffic to be even worse
Breaking news: Waymo self-driving rideshare cars officially service Orlando starting today. How it works + which theme parks Waymo can (and can't) drive you to: https://t.co/Ej6pwFNX3e

The Dinosaur hand puppets have been restocked at Animal Kingdom, although the carnotaurus versions seem to be officially extinct. 😞 The rest of the Dinosaur merchandise line seems to still be going strong at the park 3 weeks after closure, will it survive to a month?

Side note: I can't help but imagine how many parents are going to read about the train ride and the petting zoo and promise to take their kids there, only to walk all the way to THE BACK of the park and find out that its closed. You're setting up families for failure.
Based on what I saw today it seems the decision to overlay Planet Watch with Bluey was a rushed one. If this had been in the works for a while, like Dinoland, we would've seen all references removed. I suspect we may not see any updated signage until Bluey gets closer to opening.
