I wasn't a Lonely One because of autism: I was a Lonely One because I was raised in a society which is intolerant of people who are different, which in my case was due to autism. We must love everyone, no matter how far they deviate from the norm. @Salon.

Lincoln said, "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.". Trump can't fool a popular majority. ever. This too will fail. @democracyatwrk.

Trump fired the official who collects economic data. He did this because his economic policies are failing. I spoke with three economists and a historian to understand why. @democracyatwrk.

To reduce the number of mass shootings, strengthen weapons regulations. It's just that simple. I wrote about this for @Salon two years ago.

As a Pennsylvanian, I cannot heap enough praise the 2014 film "Hollidaysburg.". I identify with Petroff. I know so many people like Petroff. Frankly, the best people I know are much like Petroff. @democracyatwrk

Trump fires scientists who use objective data to warn climate change imperils life on this planet. He fires economists who provide neutral facts showing his policies increase unemployment and inflation. Gaslighting the gullible doesn't change the truth.

President Carter warned me in 2018 that under President Trump "China, Europe, Mexico and Canada are hurt economically and have to hurt us in response.". He added, "Americans see the future worse than the present, and immigrants are treated cruelly.".

Congressman Swalwell says that President Trump did a "drug deal" by siding with RFK Jr. on health policy. Do you agree? I interviewed him for @DemocracyatWork. @ericswalwell.

Donald Trump is a lot like an 18th century monarch of analogous lineage:. Frederick William I, the King of Prussia and Elector of Brandenburg and Prince of Neuchâtel from 1713 until 1740. @democracyatwrk.

I oppose Trump. I do NOT hate Trump supporters. 77 million Americans voted for Trump. They include our family members, friends, neighbors, colleagues. We may disagree with them, but we must talk to each other respectfully. @NIHDirector_Jay @Reason.

The media is gaslighting the American people on Trump's behalf. CNN, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal and Fortune have all run puff pieces praising Trump's tariffs. Of course Trump is now bold enough to fire the data collectors. @democracyatwrk.

If glory only leads to being manipulated like a pawn until you die, then of what value is life?. I ask this in my review of "Paths of Glory.". As I prepare to review my third Kubrick movie, "Eyes Wide Shut," I contemplate this aspect of "Paths of Glory.".

When I write that "The Shining" is "woke," I don't mean that as an insult. "Woke" means being aware of historical injustices. Shining is literally just that. Kubrick didn't know the word "woke," but even so, shining is wokeness.
