This is also the direct result of not having management sorted months prior to seasons end. Antonio D'Ottavio was let go in December 2024. We knew Conceicao’s fate was sealed. A rebuild requires a lot of time, assessment and foresight.
@Matt_Santangelo The whole planning of the Mercato was really bad, at least Striker/CB situation. Tare admitted that they didn't want a CB because they wanted to play back 4 but changed their mind one week ago.

It’s also extremely difficult to be optimistic or give the benefit of the doubt given how turbulent things have been. Four coaches over last two seasons. Selling top players and then executing incomplete rebuilds. Finishing 8th. Fans deserve more than this.

Normally, I tend to lean in the direction of optimism in most scenarios with Milan. However, there’s only so many times you can do that, be underwhelmed or disappointed before you just be honest and see things at face value. As things stand, Milan’s summer has fallen short.
